We have been established in our current premises for 35 YEARS, the original surgery was founded in the early 1960s by Dr. W.H.Clarke as a house practice, with a visiting Optician Dispensing Spectacles. In 1985 the Dispensing side of the practice was taken over by his son, Mr. Paul Clarke, and the opportunity to move to premises on Riverview was taken.
Since then there have been many changes, Dr. Clarke retired, and we now have an Ophthalmologist, Dr. D. Sridharan, and an Optometrist, as well as our Contact lens fitter. Technology has advanced in both Sight Testing and Spectacle Lenses, ensuring that we can give the best possible service, vision and appearance to our clients.
