We were early adopters of non-contact tonometry (for glaucoma detection), automated visual field equipment and retinal photography, and we were the first optometrists in the area to invest in an Optical Coherence Tomographer (OCT).This advanced equipment provides a central retinal examination in fantastic 3D detail that allows us to detect, diagnose and monitor retinal disease and abnormalities.

I'm incredibly grateful to Ralph, Chris, and the wonderful team at Smith and Walker. They extended such a warm welcome and truly listened to all my needs. The service at the Immingham branch is exceptional, surpassing even the big-name chains without question. The staff is exceptionally friendly, going above and beyond to ensure you receive the perfect prescription and glasses tailored to your requirements. Following my recent check-up appointment, I had my glasses adjusted and received a new case, replacing the broken one, at no additional cost. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of eyewear assistance.
