Andrew Rhys Evans Optometrists was established in 1988. At this time, Andrew took over the practice from Ray Mills with an aim to continue the emphasis on clinical eye care. Based at the bottom of Cricklade High Street, we are a valued part of the community. We have always served as a 'House Practice', lending locals a welcome alternative to mainstream spectacle shops by providing a familiar client-optician relationship.
Home visits and a continuity of care from the same members of staff are the cornerstones of what the practice stands for. Andrew Rhys Evans graduated from Aston University in 1982, gaining his practising qualification in 1983 (Member of the College of Optometrists: MBCO).
He is also registered with the General Optical Council, Association of Optometrists and contracted with the Primary Care Trust for NHS Services. Andrew also worked as an Optometrist at Swindon Hospital for twelve years.
