While many high street practices are reducing the scope and diversity of the products they supply, we still strive to provide the very best eye-care solution for our patients. There has been an optical practice on the original site since the 1930's when Mr Mason was then the residing oculist! He took on a trainee, John Ogg who faithfully served the community with his care and wonderful sense of humour until he retired and Jackie Tombs took over.
The practice has evolved to Tombs & Allen Opticians Ltd with two Optometrists and two Dispensing Opticians all of whom are fully qualified and GOC Registered.
