I also own another practice in Heywood, Shaw's Opticians, which I have owned since 2009.
Born, bred and schooled in Radcliffe, and still living nearby, I always wanted to open my own practice here at Moss Shaw Way.
Maybe the fact that I lived on the street next to the practice when I was a young lad, or that my family have owned businesses nearby in the town, it just felt the right thing to do to open in the town where me and my family are from.

Our eye examination appointments are usually scheduled for 1 hour, to allow us the necessary time to address your individual requirements, checking your vision, calculating your exact prescription requirements and examining the health aspect of your eyes.
We can then discuss the results, advise on the required lenses needed or deal with any onward referral, if this is necessary.
If spectacles are required, not only can we give you the advice about the best lenses for your needs, but also help you choose your new frames.
