Services
There are many aspects to an eye examination.
These include discussing the patients history and any current symptoms, visual acuity and prescription assessment using computerised charts.
Binocular and colour vision assessment.
Anterior and posterior ocular examination, visual field screening and screening for cataract, diabetes, glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Intraocular pressures are checked and a digital image of the central retina is photographed and stored.
This retinal photograph allows us to see a much clearer picture of the health of the eye and therefore assists with early detection of any changes.

Some people like to mix n match, wearing their spectacles most of the time and contact lenses for special occasions or sports, others may prefer to wear contact lenses all day and only use their glasses in the evening - but with contact lenses the choice is yours.
Contact Lens technologies are ever evolving and in recent years they have become thinner and more moisture retentive, allowing the wearer to feel more comfortable in their contact lenses for longer.
So even if you have been unsuccessful in fitting or wearing contact lenses in the past, it may be worth another try.

We take pride in taking time to choose frames that will suit our patients lifestyle and budget.
We understand the importance of choosing the right frame for each individual and our team will take time with each patient to ensure they find the frame that works best for them.
We hold a vast range of frames in practice, both designer and unbranded and where possible we like to source frames from local suppliers.
We are constantly updating our collections to ensure the latest shapes and styles.
While still maintaining a variety of the more traditional styles that we know some patients prefer.
