Norman Prince & Partners
We are open, but visits/appointments must be booked, including for repairs and collections. Please call us to arrange an appointment, or with any query. We are carrying out full infection control, including cleaning and sanitising of equipment and surfaces, minimising close contact and making full use of PPE. Being independent, we're in a position to offer you the latest eyewear and eyecare products from a wide range of respected manufacturers - because we're not tied to any particular manufacturer.

Founded in the 1930s, Norman Prince Opticians are committed to your ongoing care, and helping you find the right eyecare solutions.
Services
For us, patient care is of paramount importance.
This is reflected in the time we allocate to each patient's eye examinations and other appointments.
We are fully aware that eyecare cannot be a 'one-size-fits-all' business, and each practice prides itself on its individual service, tailored to each community's preferences and needs.
We conduct thorough NHS and private examinations in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, taking the time to listen to your needs and to answer your questions.
We also offer reading rate tests and coloured overlay checks for dyslexic patients.
At Norman Prince, we pride ourselves in being long-established Ascot opticians, offering quality and continuity of service for all.
Our small group aims to provide the best in patient care, with highly qualified staff and the wide choice of eyewear and eyecare that's only possible through an independent business - and, as with all our locations, all these values are realised at our Ascot practice.
We carry out thorough NHS and private eye examinations in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Our commitment to patient care is reflected in the times we allocate to appointments: 30 minutes for a normal appointment.
Our practice is located on the main high street in the town centre, next to the Co-Operative and opposite the doctors' surgery.
There is limited 2 hour parking available in front of the practice and a multi-storey car park very near by (on Church Road, to the north of the practice).
See the car park on Google StreetView here.
The Ashford War Memorial bus stop is 5 minutes' walk away and is served by routes 117, 216, 290, 400, and 555 in the direction of Staines and Stanwell.
Our practice is situated in central Crowthorne, just around the corner from the south end of the High Street.
There are car parks nearby (Heath Hill Road and Morgan Recreation Ground) and, although there's parking directly outside the practice, please be aware that it's on a 30 minute limit during our opening hours.
Our eyesight usually changes and deteriorates very gradually throughout life, such that we don't immediately notice when our sight is not quite as good as it should be.
As with our body generally, our eyesight can be something we take for granted, until a sudden or drastic change occurs.
Vision assessment - In the eye examination, your eyes' quality of vision and corrective prescription are measured and compared to previous results.
From these measurements, the optometrist can give professional recommendations to you, to help you get the clearest possible vision.
