However, not everyone has a prescription or eye shape that can be fully corrected by disposable contact lenses, which are generally one size fits all and with limited powers, so custom made contact lenses are often required.
UltraVision supplies a very extensive range of disposable and custom made contact lenses so all wearers regardless of their eye shape and power can benefit.
Everyone's eyes are different so ask your Optician for the best suited UltraVision contact lenses for you.
With the guidance of our experienced staff any qualified Optician can fit you with contact lenses, even if you have previously been unable to find a contact lens to suit your needs.

Unable to tolerate rigid contact lenses, Kevin was faced with a second graft.
Then he discovered UltraVision's KeraSoft IC, a soft lens designed specifically for the irregular cornea.
Kevin says: It took me a few days to get used to wearing contacts again as I hadn't worn them in so long, but since then I could not be more pleased with the result.
The lenses give me an extra confidence boost in the outside world.

RA: "I was straining my eyes when I was using the computer a lot, especially with the piggy back lenses."
Manufactured from high water content hydrogel and Silicone Hydrogel materials, it provides all day comfort with vision comparable to other lens systems.
People who use KeraSoft IC find they no longer have to worry whether they are going to have a "bad eye day" or if they will actually be able to wear their lenses for that night out with their friends next week.
The majority of people with keratoconus are totally reliant on contact lenses to see properly.

The majority of people with keratoconus are totally reliant on contact lenses to see properly.
Keratoconus can cause shadowy and ghosted vision which often can only be cleared up by fitting the eye with contact lenses.
These help to reduce distortion and restore normal vision.
The traditional contact lenses prescribed for keratoconus are rigid gas permeables (RGPs).
Although most people get on with these quite well, there are a significant number who find them difficult to tolerate.
If you can't wear your contact lenses, you can't see, as glasses often do not give useful vision.
UltraVision has been manufacturing contact lenses for keratoconus since the mid 1990s.
