The images truly speak for themselves. More visibility of the retina helps to identify signs of retinal complications that can then be addressed accordingly. Certain changes that Optos helps to identify from an earlier time scale include changes in the eye related to diabetes, blood pressure and retinal tears/detachments.
Whilst we would always hope that there are no complications, early detection often means more successful resolution.
