Both branches of Globe Opticians are now open for regular eye examinations, contact lens checks and fittings. It has been three months that we have been operating on a emergency basis only. We appreciate the loyalty and patience our customers have shown during these hard times. Our staff have been working tirelessly to make testing as safe as possible.
We have arranged both shop areas in a way to keep the public as safe as possible. All our staff will be wearing masks and where necessary face shields. We will be providing alcohol hand gel. All spectacles will be cleaned in compliance with the guidelines. All adults having an eye examination must come into the room wearing a mask. Children under 12 do not have to wear a mask but wherever possible please wear one.
You may take your mask off while choosing spectacles but please adhere to the social distancing rules. Please attend the practices only 2 people at a time wherever possible to eliminate crowding. People who are AT RISK AND SHIELDING please call in advance as we are running a special clinic for these patients.
