I am Bella Patel - after completing my degree in Optometry at Bradford University, I qualified as an optometrist and registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) in 1997.
Having spent a decade building up invaluable experience working in some of the high street multiples and other independent opticians, I then decided upon opening my own practice in East Twickenham in 2006.
Having my own practice was the only way I felt I would be able to offer customers the time and personalised service they deserve.

We also find being parents helps us to interact with the children on a level they understand, and conducting the examination accordingly, in a child-orientated fashion means they are happy to co-operate.
