Services
Legislation from the European Commission (from 1993) has placed responsibilities on employers whose staff use visual display units (VDUs) as part of their job on a regular basis.

Employees are also entitled to a free pair of basic spectacles if the test shows that they are required specifically for use at work.
Did you know that 83% of spectacle wearers experience eye discomfort when using digital devices.
The eye examination can pick up early signs of potentially blinding eye conditions, such as glaucoma.

Low Vision Assessment: Low vision is a term used to describe a sight problem that cannot be corrected by glasses, contact lenses or medical treatment and may cause people, including children and young people, some difficulties in everyday activities.
Some people with low vision may require a device to help them with certain tasks such as reading print, seeing things in the distance like bus numbers or watching a football match.
In order to determine if a patient could benefit from using one or more low vision aids, they can have a low vision assessment.
